King inaugurates Casablanca Institute of Applied Technology specializes Sidi Moumen, achieved at a cost of 31 million dirhams

King Mohammed VI has made the previous week in Casablanca, at the inauguration of the Special Institute for Applied Technology (ISTA) Sidi Moumen, made for a total cost of 31 million dirhams.

After unveiling a commemorative plaque and cut the ribbon, the King made a tour through the different structures this institution who will host each year, a thousand young people mostly from the area of Sidi Moumen.

The new institute, a covered area of 2,500 m2, was created under the development program of Sidi Moumen signed December 12, 2007, with the ambition to promote youth integration into working life and meet skill needs in high tech sectors.

These trades listed in the National Pact for the emerging industry, such as automotive, aerospace, electronics industries bring jobs and growth such as information technology and construction.

The training course covers the business aviation industry, construction and automotive equipment, through channels as diverse as the design and CADD design (CAD), the electromechanical , composite materials, mechanical manufacturing, assembly, assembly Automotive, Covers and caps for automobiles.

Lifelines specific to the ICT sector are also available to youth in trades development, networking and computer maintenance.

The Institute has nine workshops, four rooms specialist, a classroom, a library, administrative block and a sports field.

Creating ISTA Sidi Moumen is part of the strategy of supporting business-related Emergence Plan which aims inter alia to meet the needs of industrial and investment sectors concerned and to sustain the momentum Investment by a highly skilled workforce.

This new institute is the training system of the Office of Training and Promotion of Work (OFPPT) in the Greater Casablanca at 53 facilities, with seating for almost of 52,600 students in September 2010-2011 in the various sectors of the economy.
