The International Higher Institute of Tourism of Tangier was founded in 1972 by the Ministry of Tourism. Unique in Africa and the Arab world, it has become since July 14, 1987, International Higher Institute of Tourism, Following the resolution passed for that purpose by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organisation and the agreement signed between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the General Secretariat of the Organization. The mission of the International Higher Institute of Tourism is the training of executives capable of ensuring the design, promotion and rational management of the tourism product and tourism companies and hotels, based on the latest techniques and most appropriate specificity of this sector. To achieve its objectives, the International Higher Institute of Tourism has been endowed with structures and resources enabling it to realize its ambitions: An active learning, multidisciplinary and evolving organized form of interactive lectures, tutorials, case studies and simulation games, university teachers and practitioners from the workplace, who bring their expertise and experience, educational facilities and teaching materials (library, language laboratory, audio-visual, computer center, screening room, etc.). Vision 2010 has placed special emphasis on the need to develop highly qualified (Upper management / top management) in hotel and tourism. The ISITT will play a key role as a strategic lever to support the sector in close synergy with the public offering and private higher education in Morocco.
Target Audience: Young Moroccans under 25 years old and willing to pursue a college degree in Hotel Management or Tourism.
Admission: 1st cycle: contest, open to candidates holding a bachelor all series (for option Tourism) Bachelor Economics / Business / Accounting or Diploma of Technician in Hotel Hospitality Management for option (see details of entrance examination).
2nd cycle: Contest is open to candidates holding a diploma of the first cycle of the ISITT or a Degree in Economics - Management.

- 2nd cycle: Administration and Management of Tourist Enterprises and Temporary Housing (AGETH) *
